Bambinos.live, the Shark Tank India-backed live learning platform for kids, today announced that enrollment is open for new batches of Unbox Kannada, its live online Kannada program for kids aged LKG to class 6. The new batches begin [batch start date], ahead of Kannada Rajyotsava on November 1, the day Karnataka celebrates its formation in 1956.

Unbox Kannada is built for three groups of families: those who have moved to Bengaluru and want their child to speak the local language, school students studying Kannada as a second or third language, and NRI families who want their kids to stay connected to Kannada while living abroad.

Kids learn spoken Kannada, Kannada reading and Kannada writing in live 50-minute classes, twice a week, in groups of no more than six. The curriculum is aligned with CBSE, NCERT and NEP 2020 and moves through eight levels, from “Alphabet Adventure” in LKG, where a child learns the Kannada alphabet, to “Language Scholar” in Class 6. Lessons are taught through stories rather than rote drills, so kids remember words by using them.

Between classes, kids keep practising on the Bambinos app, available on Android and iOS. The app includes a Kannada keyboard and handwriting input, more than 60 animated Kannada stories, a pronunciation recording booth and a weekly parent dashboard showing attendance, progress and class recordings.

Every Unbox Kannada teacher is a native Karnataka educator selected from the top 1% of applicants. Teachers complete 40 hours of training and are reviewed every month. The first 50-minute class is free, with no payment card required.
